Commercial vehicle fire temporarily closes Walterboro Hwy.
HAMPTON COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - Hampton Fire Department said Walterboro Highway temporarily closed in both directions due to a commercial vehicle fire on Tuesday.
The fire department asked drivers to avoid the area. Fire officials said the incident is under control.
“Your Station 50 firefighters are currently operating at a commercial vehicle fire at the intersection of Walterboro Highway and Sandy Run Road,” wrote Hampton Fire Department.
