Chatham County man indicted on aggravated sodomy, kidnapping charges

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Chatham County grand jury has indicted a man on charges including aggravated sodomy and kidnapping, according to court records.
Terrell Deshay Warner, 38, was indicted on charges of aggravated sodomy, kidnapping and two counts of aggravated assault-family violence, court records show.
The indictment stems from an incident on Aug. 25, 2024, according to court records. Court records state Warner performed a forced sexual act with force and against the will of the victim.

Court records show Warner allegedly held the victim against her will, resulting in bodily injury. The indictment includes an allegation of strangulation. Warner and the victim are in a romantic relationship, according to court records.
Court records state Warner maliciously caused bodily harm to the victim “by rendering her brain useless.”
Court proceedings
He was given a bond of $17,250, according to court records. Conditions of his bond state he cannot have any new arrests.
He’s due back in court early next year. We are awaiting his mug shot from the jail.
