Chatham Avenue Crossover opens on Tybee Island

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Tybee Island shared a big update about the status of the Chatham Avenue crossover.
City officials said the construction project has completed and the crossover is now open for public use. Improvements were made to enhance safety and accessibility for residents and visitors traveling between the beach and surrounding areas.
“We appreciate everyone’s cooperation throughout the project and hope you enjoy the improved crossover this summer,” wrote the City of Tybee Island.
