Car fire off of U.S. 17 near Talmadge Bridge

HARDEEVILLE, Sc. (WTOC) - A car was on fire off U.S. 17 near the Talmadge Bridge on Sunday evening.
A WTOC crew was driving nearby when they saw smoke coming from the grass area off U.S. 17 north.
Eye witnesses told WTOC they saw a victim lying on the ground while the vehicle was on fire. They said they saw a bystander moments before run to the car, pull a person out, and help them get to safety before fire crews arrived.
Jasper County fire crews were responding on the scene.
