By the numbers: Georgia’s daily early voting totals ahead of the November election

by Jordan Barela

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The November Georgia midterm election is right around the corner, and Georgians are already out in force casting their ballots early.

Early voting kicked off across the Peach State on Oct. 13.

More than 190,000 ballots were cast during the first day of early voting. Election officials said that turnout shattered the 2022 record in that midterm election by more than 53,000 votes.

The last day of early voting in Georgia is Oct. 30.

How to find an early voting location:

  • Go to mvp.sos.ga.gov.
  • Log in with your first initial, last name, county you are registered to vote in, and your date of birth.
  • Scroll down to “Early Voting Polling Locations.” From there, you’ll be able to see all of the polling locations and the date and hours available for early voting.

You do not have to go to your assigned voting precinct to early vote. You will have to do to your voting precinct if you vote on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 3.

In the November election, Georgians will be deciding the Peach State’s next governor, who will represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate and the other statewide executive positions, which include lieutenant governor, attorney general and secretary of state, among others.
