Brush fire reported in Effingham County on Clyo-Kildare Road
EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Effingham County Fire Rescue reported units were dispatched to a large brush fire that has reached around 75 acres.
That report came in around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday.
The most recent report from fire rescue after 7 p.m. said no homes were evacuated, they deployed seven apparatus, two Georgia Forestry Commission plows from Effingham County and one from Jenkins County.
The area is on Clyo-Kildare Road, just east of Mizpah Community according to the fire rescue.
