Bloomingdale announces road closures, traffic plan for Rock the Country music festival

BLOOMINGDALE, Ga. (WTOC) - Bloomingdale Police Department is warning drivers about road closures and traffic changes ahead of the Rock the Country music festival this weekend.
Police said through traffic will not be allowed on Cherry Street or Pine Barren Road during the event.
Both roads will close Friday, May 29, from noon until midnight. The same closures will be in effect Saturday, May 30, from noon until midnight.
Festival attendees will need to use Jimmy Deloach Parkway and Bloomingdale Road to access the venue.
Officials also said there will be no off-site parking for the event. Vehicles parked on private property could be towed at the owner’s expense. Cars parked along side streets or roadways may also be subject to towing.
Police added that golf carts, ATVs, UTVs and similar vehicles will not be allowed on festival grounds.
