Bicyclist killed after collision on Trash Parkway in Beaufort Co.

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - One person is dead after a collision in Beaufort County.
South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision occurred on Trask Parkway near Stroban Road, just before 10 a.m. Friday.
According to SCHP, a bicyclist and a 2011 Toyota SUV were traveling north on Trask Parkway, when the SUV struck the bicyclist.
The person on the bicycle died from their injures.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital.
No other information on the collision was released.
SCHP is investigating this collision.
