Beaufort Police Department hosting free ‘Chill with a Cop’ summer fair on Aug. 21

BEAUFORT, S.C. — The Beaufort Police Department is inviting local families to wrap up the summer season with their officers at a free community event on August 21.
The department’s “Chill with a Cop: End of Summer Fair” is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Southside Park in Beaufort.

According to organizers, the family-friendly event is designed to bring the community and local law enforcement together.
The fair will feature a variety of activities, including:
- Games and prizes
- Face painting
- Free food and drinks
- Raffle drawings
Police officials noted that all children attending the event must be accompanied by an adult.
