Autopsy shows dismembered woman also shot in head, Smyrna police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An autopsy showed that the woman was found dismembered in Smyrna had also been shot in the head, according to police.

Shanteria Mosley was found dead at a Smyrna apartment complex Sept. 21.

A witness saw Kingston Bradley, 18, carrying a plastic tub carrying a plastic tub through an open area of Park Valley Apartments around 8:15 p.m.

Kingston Bradley, 18, is facing a felony charge of concealing the death of another.

When Bradley saw the person, he allegedly dropped the container and ran into his nearby apartment. According to Smyrna police, officers found a human torso inside the tub. A search of Bradley’s apartment revealed multiple bloodstains and a blood-covered saw, plus the smell of bleach, a mop and a bucket of water.

On Friday, detectives found body parts believed to be Mosley’s inside a car trunk in Cobb County. Police did not specify which body parts were found inside the trunk. Police said they are still searching for other parts of Mosley’s body. Investigators continue to follow leads, conducting several search warrants and interviews.

Bradley is facing charges of malice murder and concealing the death of another.
