HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - The Atlanta Falcons brought NFL talent to Fort Stewart for a flag football game with soldiers.

The flag football game was one of many activities Thursday, there was also a player meet-and-greet and lunch service with the players at the dining facility.

“To be able to be recognized by people that we look up to, professional athletes, you know. To have them come down and be with us, coach us up a little bit, it means a lot,” one soldier said.

Troops said having the Falcons at Fort Stewart lets them know that the sacrifices they make protecting the country don’t go unnoticed.
