Agreement reached between HCA Healthcare and Cigna

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - An agreement has been reached between HCA Healthcare and Cigna. In a statement to WTOC, Memorial Health said there will be no disruption to care.
This comes after several months of negotiations between the two organizations that had the potential to impact thousands of patients.
On May 1, Cigna Health said Memorial Health facilities were out network for certain Cigna plans after the two sides did not reach a contract agreement by the deadline. A month later, health officials said an agreement was officially met.
