Wayne County man arrested for sexual battery, 2 counts of child molestation

WAYNE COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE]: 39-year-old Emory Darrel Rice has been arrested on sexual battery and two counts of child molestation, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

This investigation began on July 11th after a report was made to law enforcement.

The sheriff’s office said Rice was already on the sex offender registry after an incident in Wayne County in 2009.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, his charges are sexual battery and two counts of child molestation.
