Wayne County lake to close for annual boat races in April
WAYNE COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A popular Wayne County lake will be closed to all boating and water activities for several days in April due to annual boat races.
Lake Lindsay Grace will be closed from April 9 to April 12, the county government said in a social media post. The closure applies to the entire lake, not just the boat ramps.
The Wayne County Board of Commissioners invites all residents to enjoy the free boat races from the shoreline.
“We appreciate the public’s cooperation during this temporary closure and look forward to a fun and exciting event at Lake Grace,” the post said.
