WTOC’s Shea Schrader to compete for Queen of Sole at Wine, Women and Shoes fundraiser
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Fashion meets philanthropy at one of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire’s biggest fundraisers.
Wine, Women and Shoes returns for its 12th year on Wednesday, April 29, and Thursday, April 30, at Kehoe Iron Works in downtown Savannah. The two-day event will help families stay close to their children when they need medical care.
WTOC investigative reporter Shea Schrader is competing for the Queen of Sole title. Schrader and RMHC executive director Bill Sorochak joined Morning Break before the two-day event.
Wednesday’s sold out signature luncheon will feature a curated fashion show, fine wine, boutique shopping and fundraising for the organization’s mission.
Thursday evening will include wines, shopping, culinary offerings, Sole Men and Women and fundraising activities. Tickets are still available.
Wine, Women and Shoes is a fundraiser that helps ensure families can stay close to their child during treatment without the added burden of travel or lodging costs.
