WTOC’s Severe Weather Preparedness Tour ends today in Jesup

by Christopher Teuton

JESUP, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC wants to make sure you’re prepared for severe weather this summer.

That’s why our First Alert Weather Team has been out hitting the road, heading out to communities across our area.

On July 16, WTOC is in Jesup as part of our Severe Weather Preparedness Tour. Come visit us at the Train Depot at 176 Northwest Broad Street!

Meteorologist Jamie Ertle will be handing out rain gauges, meeting members of the community, and providing information and instructions on how to stay safe during extreme weather events.

This is WTOC’s FINAL stop on our Severe Weather Preparedness Tour, following visits to Vidalia, Statesboro, and Bluffton, SC.

WTOC meteorologists will be broadcasting live on location throughout each day of the Severe Weather Preparedness Tour and locals are encouraged to come out, meet our First Alert team, and learn about weather planning, safety, and hurricane preparedness.
