WATCH: 7 student films from Savannah Arts Academy selected for 2025 All-American High School Film Festival

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Seven student-produced films from Savannah Arts Academy have been selected for inclusion in the 2025 All-American High School Film Festival, according to a press release from SSCPSS.

The All-American High School Film Festival is held in October each year in New York City and is the largest high school film festival in the world.

This year, one-third of all films selected from the state of Georgia came from Savannah Arts Academy.

2025 is the 13th All-American High School Film Festival. Films were selected by a panel of industry judges from among thousands of submissions from around the world, according to SCCPSS.

The student films from Savannah Arts Academy and other schools will be screened before a live audience during the competition weekend (October 17th - 19th) at the AMC theater in Times Square.

All of the official selections in the All-American High School Film Festival are eligible to be nominated for an award.

All award nominees and winners will be announced at the Teen Indie Awards on October 19, 2025, at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
