by Shakuria Smith

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Pegasus Riding Academy is looking for volunteers to support its therapeutic riding program, which provides safe, professional equine-assisted activities for individuals with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities.

No horse experience is required. The organization says volunteers simply need a willingness to help and a heart for serving the community.

How Volunteers Can Help

  • Assist riders during therapeutic riding sessions
  • Help care for horses before and after sessions
  • Support special events and fundraising efforts

Pegasus Riding Academy works to create a positive, empowering environment where riders can build confidence, strength, and emotional well-being through interactions with horses.
