Vintage Space to host 3rd Annual Autism Ball, new community carnival in Savannah
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah-based Vintage Multi-Purpose Space is preparing to host its 3rd Annual Autism Ball, along with a new Autism Community Carnival, as part of a two-day event aimed at supporting children and families within the autism community.
The Autism Community Carnival is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2026, followed by the Autism Ball on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
Both events will take place at Vintage Multi-Purpose Space, located at 980 Industry Drive in Savannah.
Organizers say the Autism Ball has become a signature annual event, typically welcoming between 40 and 60 children and their families.
The gathering is designed to provide an inclusive environment where attendees can participate in activities, entertainment, and community engagement in a supportive setting.
New this year, the Autism Community Carnival will expand the event’s outreach with games, activities, and entertainment tailored for children on the autism spectrum.
Roshida Edwards, owner of Vintage Multi-Purpose Space, said the additional event reflects an effort to broaden the organization’s support for local families.
In advance of the events, Vintage Multi-Purpose Space will also receive a proclamation from Chatham County commissioners on March 27, 2026, recognizing its community involvement and advocacy efforts.
Organizers say both events rely on sponsorships and donations from local businesses, organizations, and community members.
Contributions are currently being accepted to help support programming and activities for families.
Vintage Multi-Purpose Space describes itself as a community-focused facility that hosts events and initiatives aimed at supporting connection, creativity, and engagement throughout the Savannah area.
