USGS: Earthquake reported near Elgin
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - An earthquake was reported in part of the Midlands early Tuesday.
The United States Geological Survey confirmed a magnitude 2.2 quake happened nearly three miles east of Elgin just after 6:30 a.m.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
