UPDATE: One person injured after shooting on Lang Street in Vidalia
VIDALIA, Ga. (WTOC) - An 18-year-old was injured after a shooting in Vidalia.
According to Vidalia Police, officers responded to a male lying in the road around 5 p.m. Saturday, on Lang Street near the intersection of McIntosh Street.
Officials say the male, later identified as 18-year-old Elijah Moore, of Vidalia, suffered from a gunshot wound.
Police say Moore was treated on scene, but due to the nature of his injuries, was airlifted to a hospital for additional treatment.
Officials say both the victim and individuals believed to have information on the incident have been uncooperative.
This is an active investigation.
