UPDATE: Man arrested after two people injured in Savannah stabbing

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) [UPDATE 4/14 11:35 a.m. ] - Savannah Police arrested a man after two people were hospitalized following a stabbing on Carver St. Monday evening.

Reginald Brown, 51, has been charged with home invasion, aggravated assault, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.

Around 9:55 p.m. Monday, officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the area. When SPD units arrived on scene, they found an adult female and male who were both injured. The two were taken to a local hospital via EMS.

Brown was arrested later that evening. He was taken to a hospital before being booked into the Chatham County Detention Center.

[ORIGINAL STORY] A heavy police presence has been reported near the 800 block of Carver St. Monday evening.

WTOC crews on the scene saw several Savannah Police units responding as well as forensics.
