SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 3/28 10:45 a.m.] The Savannah Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that took place March 27 at Wells Fargo near the Savannah Mall.

Police say it happened around 4:50 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5′6″ to 5′9″ in height with a somewhat athletic build and a slight beard. Police say he ran from the scene.
