TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - The Tybee Island Police Department said they will be having a multi-agency road safety checkpoint on Thursday, April 16 on Highway 80 near Lazaretto Creek.

They said the operation is scheduled to start at around 7 p.m. as people make their way to the island for this years’ “Crush Reloaded” event where thousands of spring breakers are expected to be on the island for the weekend.
