Tybee Island announces reduced parking rates during the off-season
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Tybee Island has implemented reduced parking rates for the off-season, cutting hourly fees in half to encourage visitors during the winter months.
Starting November 1 and running through February 28, parking will cost $2 per hour, down from the regular $4 hourly rate.
The new rate will automatically appear at parking kiosks and in the Park TYB mobile app when visitors pay for parking.
In 2024, the island offered free parking from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.
