Tybee Island, Marine Science Center to host free Community Day
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Tybee Island and the Tybee Island Marine Science Center are inviting the community to a free Community Day event.
The event will take place Monday, May 26, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, located in the North Beach parking lot at 37 Meddin Drive.
Families can enjoy interactive coastal displays, hands-on learning experiences, treats for children, raffle prizes and more.
City leaders say the event highlights Tybee’s coastal culture, conservation efforts and community spirit. The Marine Science Center is part of a public-nonprofit partnership between the Tybee Island Marine Science Foundation and the city.
