Two people injured in Hampton County shooting
HAMPTON COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - The Hampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident near Whippy Swamp Bridge on Altman Road Monday night.
According to the sheriff’s office, two people have been shot.
Deputies and investigators are actively working the scene.
As a result, the Whippy Swamp Bridge on Altman Road will remain closed for several hours.
The sheriff’s office says drivers should avoid the area and plan an alternate route while law enforcement personnel continue their investigation.
