Two arrested in connection with fatal hit-and-run that killed young teen

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Police Department has announced the arrest of two men in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that took the life of a 14-year-old male Sunday night.

Detectives arrested Miguel Reyes-Castro, 32, and Olvin Antonio Ramos-Ramos, 29. Both are facing charges of Tampering with Evidence (felony) and Obstruction (misdemeanor).

Both have been booked into the Chatham County Detention Center.

Chatham County Police Department detectives say they have also recovered the vehicle that left the scene after the teen was struck and killed.

The vehicle is being processed for additional evidence.

This investigation remains active and ongoing investigation. Police note that it will take some time to process all of the necessary evidence.
