SEE: Toombs Co. woman pleads guilty in death of 4-year-old daughter
She pled guilty to one county of felony murder and two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree.
This is all in relation to the death of her 4-year-old daughter, Reese Carter Hughes, who passed away on March 14th.
Before entering her plea, Hughes provided investigators with information and agreed to testify against her boyfriend- Seth Brown.

Hughes was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 concurrent, which means those 20 years will run at the same time as her life sentence.
She’s at Arrendale State Prison, a women’s prison in un-incorporated Habersham County, Georgia.
The same prison that houses death row women in our state.
As for the other person charged in Reese’s death, 26-year-old Seth Brown, the mother’s boyfriend- his trial is expected to begin in October.
