ATLANTA, Ga. (WALB) - Authorities have arrested three people in connection with the break-in and theft at the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Investigators say they are still searching for a fourth suspect.

The Medina County Sheriff’s Office held a news conference on Wednesday to discuss the burglary, which occurred in November while Sanders was playing in his first regular-season NFL game.

Officials say approximately $200,000 worth of property was stolen from Sanders’ home in a Cleveland suburb.

Investigators confirmed that all four suspects connected to the case are from the Atlanta, Georgia area. The three individuals already in custody are expected to be extradited to Ohio to face charges related to the burglary. Authorities added that the suspects are also facing unrelated charges in Georgia.

Law enforcement officials say this case is part of a broader trend involving burglaries targeting the homes of professional athletes. Other recent victims include Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing as they work to locate the fourth suspect.
