Taste of Beaufort returns with food, music, waterfront events
BEAUFORT, SC. (WTOC) - One of the Lowcountry’s most popular festivals is returning to downtown Beaufort with new experiences, local flavor and a full weekend of entertainment.
A Taste of Beaufort is set for May 1 and May 2, bringing together food, music, art and community events across multiple locations in the city.
The festival will once again center around Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park, where visitors can enjoy live music, local food vendors and family-friendly activities with views of the Beaufort River.
Organizers say this year’s event will also feature expanded experiences, including “Taste of the Arts” at the USCB Center for the Arts and “Taste of the Community” at Washington Street Park.
The arts portion of the festival will include an outdoor market, live performances and a juried exhibition showcasing artists from across the country.
Meanwhile, the community-focused event at Washington Street Park will highlight local culture with live entertainment, food and historical programming, including the unveiling of a new historical marker.
Organizers say the goal is to celebrate Beaufort’s culture, support local businesses and create a welcoming experience for both residents and visitors.
