Target parking lot shooting suspect granted bond weeks before being indicted on murder charges
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The man accused of shooting and killing another man in a Target parking lot in January has been indicted on murder charges and has been granted bond.
Tyler Linn has been indicted on murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and child cruelty charges in connection to the shooting death of Matthew Traywick.
In a previous court hearing, Savannah Police Department detectives testified the two men got into an argument over a parking spot, and that Linn shot and killed Traywick in front of his wife and children.
Court records show Judge Tammy Stokes granted Linn bond, on the condition he remain at home with an ankle monitor.
Chatham County prosecutors objected to the bond.
It is unclear when Linn’s next court date is.
