Tanger Outlets Savannah, Hilton Head named among ‘America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women’

Savannah, Ga. (WTOC) - Tanger Outlets Savannah and Hilton Head were named among “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women” by Newsweek in 2026.

Newsweek said the brand’s Savannah location reflects this commitment with an all-women management team.

“At Tanger, we believe different perspectives make us stronger,” said Lauren Krumlauf, Tanger’s regional vice president of field marketing. “This recognition reflects our team’s continued focus on creating a supportive environment that empowers women to grow, lead, and succeed.”

Newsweek said Tanger Savannah and Hilton Head management teams benefit from the expertise of female leaders in the community. “Under their leadership, the shopping center continues to grow as a must-visit destination for top national brands and local favorites in retail, dining and entertainment,” continued Newsweek in a press release.

Newsweek’s ranking recognizes midsize companies dismantling gender barriers through equitable policies and workplace culture while fostering environments in which women thrive.

The ranking is based on over 2.6 million online employee reviews spanning 4,700 midsize companies that operate in the U.S. Plant-A Insights Group, working with HR analytics firm Aniline, analyzed more than 37 million data points across 120 key performance indicators, with added weight given to drivers of workplace happiness such as culture and belonging and work-life balance.
