POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - A suspect in a gas station beating in Pooler has been arrested.

Jail records show Motreon Lajuan Williams, 34, of Savannah, was booked into the Chatham County Jail Feb. 17 on a felony charge of Party to a Crime - Aggravated Assault.

Motreon Lajuan Williams was arrested in connection to a beating outside a Pooler gas station.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WTOC the arrest was in connection to a beating captured on video outside a Pooler gas station.

Major Crimes and Special Investigations Investigator Trey Conners told WTOC they have identified multiple people in the video circulating on social media - including the woman in the video, the cameraman and the victim.

Conners said the victim is doing okay, but no other details were shared regarding his condition.

“This aggravated assault occurred because of testimony that was given in a double homicide trial in Chatham County,” Investigator Conners said.

Attention was brought to the incident after Chatham County Sheriff Richard Coleman made a Facebook post about the video in February. The footage shows three men attacking a person outside the gas station.

Williams had his initial court hearing Feb. 18 and was denied bond. He was on bond already at the time of the beating.

CCSO Investigators tell WTOC that additional arrests are imminent. Anyone with information on the video is urged to contact Investigator Conners at 912-644-5136. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
