Sunday evening shooting injures 3 in Jesup

JESUP, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 5/25/2026 ] The Jesup Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday evening around 8:20 p.m. at MLK Park near Walker and Hickory Street next to Jesup New Life Church.

Police said three individuals sustained gunshot-related injuries and were transported for medical treatment. Their current conditions are not being released at this time.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was contacted and is providing assistance to detectives with the Jesup Police Department.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Jesup Police Department said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting that left two people hurt, one was airlifted from the scene.

They said it happened on Sunday night on North Hickory Street.
