Statesboro PD: Second teen arrested in Groover Homes shooting investigation

STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Statesboro police have made a second arrest in connection with a shooting that occurred in Groover Homes on April 23.

A 16-year-old male was taken into custody Monday. He is being held by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. Statesboro Police said the identities of all juveniles involved are being withheld to comply with privacy laws regarding minors.

Police said the victim of the shooting remains under medical treatment at a Savannah hospital.

The Statesboro Police Department is investigating the incident and requests that anyone with information or video footage contact Senior Detective Hardin at 912-764-9911.
