ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Atlanta’s State Farm Arena was recently ranked among the country’s—and world’s — top entertainment venues.

The arena was named No. 5 domestically and No. 7 overall, according to Billboard, in its category of non-stadium venues with more than 15,000 seats. Between October 2024 and September 2025, it grossed more than $121 million and saw about 939,000 visitors.

In a statement, Trey Feazell, the arena’s executive vice president of programming, called the recognition “an incredible accomplishment.”

“Through long hours, creative thinking, strong partnerships with artists, managers, agents and promoters, and an unwavering focus on delivering unforgettable experiences for fans and artists alike, we are proud to make our Arena a global destination for the biggest acts and the biggest moments,” he said.

Overall, Billboard’s top 10 venues of 2025 are:

  1. The Sphere, Las Vegas, Nevada
  2. O2 Arena, London, England
  3. Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
  4. Kia Forum, Inglewood, California
  5. Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, Australia
  6. Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
  7. State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
  8. Movistar Arena, Madrid, Spain
  9. Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey
  10. Chase Center, San Francisco, California

The ranking marks the third year in a row that State Farm Arena made it to the top 10. In 2024, it was dubbed No. 9 overall.

In the period measured, the arena hosted 94 non-Hawks events—including performances by stars such as Paul McCartney, Dua Lipa, Usher, Lil Wayne and Shakira. It was also home to several WWE pay-per-view events, a UFC Fight Night and a sold-out WNBA game.

More stars are on the roster in 2026, like Ariana Grande, Cardi B and Lady Gaga.
