Star power and high energy drive day three of SCAD Film Festival
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The rain couldn’t keep the excitement down for SCAD Savannah Film Festival red carpet.
Students lined up all in hopes to get a glimpse, or maybe some inspirations from of their favorite stars.
“Find a really good hairdresser, sometimes is easier to go from the outside in,” said Rose Bryne.
Big names on day 3 include Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried and Miles Caton who is best known for his breakout role in the summer hit movie -- Sinners.
He says receiving the rising star award from SCAD has been something he never knew would be so exciting.
“When I first stepped out into the crowd and I showed all the students and they show so much love, dang that feeling,” said Caton.
But the one part of the festival so many SCAD students say they look forward to year after year is the advice that directors, actors, and filmmakers of all kinds have to offer.
“When you have an idea, as an artist, when you have an intuition it is correct and that is a battle to fight and win.”
And the show is just beginning, more celebrities like Dakota Fanning, Dylan O’brien, and Mark Hamill are still to come.
