BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the mass shooting that occurred at Willie’s Bar & Grill on St. Helena on October 12, 2025.

During a Q&A session on October 15, 2025, Sheriff P. J. Tanner said an update would likely be provided this week.

According to a media advisory from the BCSO just received by WTOC, evidence is still being analyzed and there is no new information to provide at this time. However, the case is still ongoing.

The Sheriff’s Office still urges the community to come forward with any information you may have about the incident.

“We appreciate the assistance from the FBI who set up a digital media tips website specifically for this tragic shooting,” the BCSO says.

Anyone with cellphone video or any other multimedia recordings of the incident are being asked to upload media to www.fbi.gov/sthelenamassshooting.
