Savannah hosts free Holiday Safety Extravaganza for families
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -The City of Savannah Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement hosted a free, family-friendly Holiday Safety Extravaganza on Saturday.
The city said the event was a celebration of community and safety. It included music, free food, and games for kids of all ages.
All activities were free to help local families during the holiday season.
“Helping families build...helping families is what it’s all about, impacting the neighborhoods,” said Steven Jenkins with TIA, Through It All.
The event also offered a free mentorship and support session for girls and women.
