Savannah event changes due to potential weather impact
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Due to the potential of weather in the area, the City of Savannah has updated their weekend events and programming schedule.
Schedule Updates for Saturday, Sept. 27:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Program, originally scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Moses Jackson Advancement Center has been postponed. A new date and time will be announced soon.
- Fall Garden Kick Off Event has been postponed. Further details will be shared when available.
- The Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Event Status Updates
- Adult Field Day Special Event (RLS) at Minnick Park has been rescheduled.
- Youth Tackle Football (RLS) at Daffin Park is on schedule.
- Various Community Center Rentals (RLS) is on schedule.
Officials say all City Community Centers will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 28.
