Savannah church draws large crowd for Easter celebration
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -A large crowd gathered Sunday for an Easter celebration centered on faith, family and community.
Pastor Ricky Temple with Overcoming By Faith Ministries said the turnout reflects something deeper.
“There’s something still alive in people. Hunger and hope, and that’s what this day is about,” Temple said.
He said this year’s Easter message focuses on consequences and that even when people are going through hardships, Easter can serve as a reminder that there is hope ahead.
