Savannah Tech to host open house for prospective students

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Technical College is inviting prospective students to learn more about career-focused programs during an upcoming open house.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the college’s main campus on White Bluff Road.

College leaders say attendees will be able to explore nearly 150 market-driven programs, including aviation technology, cybersecurity, health sciences, logistics and culinary arts.

The open house is designed for high school students, adult learners, veterans and anyone considering starting college, earning a GED or making a career change.

Prospective students will have the chance to meet instructors, tour facilities and get guidance on the application process and financial aid options.

Savannah Technical College says the event is part of its effort to connect residents in Chatham, Effingham and Liberty counties with training for high-demand careers.

The open house will be held at Savannah Technical College’s main campus, located at 5717 White Bluff Road in Savannah.
