Savannah Police investigating shooting in 800 block of Carter Street
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Police are investigating a shooting that left one person with serious injuries.
Police say officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Carter Street around 7 p.m. Friday.
When our crews initially arrived on scene, we also saw police units near the intersection of Chambers and Bowden Streets.

When they arrived on scene, officers found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.
The male victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
