Savannah Police investigate overnight shooting on Echols Ave.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man seriously injured early Sunday morning.

Officers posted about the shooting on their social media just after 1:45 a.m. that a shooting happened on Echols Avenue, which is off Abercorn Street and near Mall Boulevard.

Police tape remains at the scene of the shooting

At this time, police have not released information on whether any suspects are in custody, and details about the victim’s condition remain limited.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously at 912 - 234 2020
