SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The 2026 Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is returning for its third year with expanded scholarship opportunities and leadership development for local students.

The program, hosted by Chosen For The Arts, is part of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival and focuses on preparing young women through public speaking, community engagement and cultural education.

This year, the Tourism Leadership Council has been named the leading scholarship supporter, helping increase funding and expand opportunities for participants.

Organizers say the six-month program goes beyond the stage, offering hands-on experiences including college exposure and leadership training. Contestants recently traveled to Washington, D.C., visiting major institutions like Howard University and national museums.

Participants will also be recognized during the Dreams Fulfilled Scholarship Gala, which highlights community leaders and supporters of the program.

The pageant is set for June 6 as part of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival.
