Savannah Juneteenth Festival returns June 20 with live music, culture and family fun

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Juneteenth Festival is returning to Wells Park for a full day of music, culture and community celebration.

The free event will take place Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wells Park in Savannah.

Presented by The Daughters of Mary Magdalene, the festival will feature live entertainment, cultural performances, food vendors, a kids zone and community resources for families across the area.

Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate freedom, honor history and build community through a day of unity and cultural expression.

Featured performer Jimmy Lloyd Brown of Brick & JD Music is scheduled to perform during the event.

Community members can also connect with local organizations and enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the day.
