SPD gives new details on fatal shooting at Rogers St. Saturday night
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 2:45 p.m. 9/21/2025] The Savannah Police Department has given a small update on Saturday night’s shooting on Rogers St.
According to the SPD, “one adult male” died due to a gunshot wound.
Lifesaving measures were attempted but the victim succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
No arrests have yet been made and the investigation is still ongoing.
[ORIGINAL STORY] According to the Savannah Police Department, officers responded to a fatal shooting in the 1200 block of Rogers St on the night of September 20, 2025.
They have not identified who was killed or if they have any suspects.
