SCHP investigates fatal crash in Beaufort Co.
BEAUFORT, S.C. (WTOC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Saturday morning in the Lowcountry.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, just after 10 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, a Nissan Sentra was traveling west, and an Acura was traveling east on US 278 at Sun City Boulevard.
Both vehicles collided at the intersection.
The single occupant in the Nissan Sentra, the driver, was taken to the hospital where they later died from their injuries.
The driver of the Acura was also taken to the hospital.
