SC Highway Patrol responds to fatal crash in Beaufort County

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - South Carolina Highway Patrol says a fatal crash happened around 2:25 p.m. on U.S. 17 alternate North near Frampton Road.

There was only 1 car involved, a 1993 Chevy Sedan. The driver sustained fatal injuries after troopers say the driver drove off the side of the road and hit a tree.

Any information on the deceased is with the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office.

The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol
